Entry Inventory Control Specialist - Louisville

PURPOSE/SCOPE:
Inventory Control Associate monitors and maintains the integrity of warehouse inventory and storage locations through analysis, reporting, and item/material master audit/input. This would include NIL resolution real time, corrective action to inventory variance, and reviewing historic transactions. The intended outcome is having the right parts in the right location at the right time to satisfy customer demand and financial (SOX) compliance.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accuracy of item and material master
Manage and complete cycle count process
Reconcile inventory differences and root cause reason
Identify irregularities in daily operational processes that create inventory issues
Assist with cycle counting and process audits
Respond and resolve NIL issues in real time
Research and resolve problem parts brought to the Panelty Box/Hospital Cart
Provide timely and appropriate reporting of requested metrics and KPIs
Other duties as determined by supervisor/management team
Continuous improvement/5S
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma OR GED required; some college preferred
1 year distribution or manufacturing experience minimum
1 year Inventory Control experience preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred
1 year SAP experience preferred
Experience using Microsoft Excel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand for extended period of times
Ability to work in a non-climate control environments
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $45,300 - 67,800 Annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
