3rd Shift Cycle Counter

PURPOSE/SCOPE:  Complete cycle counts with a quality and accurate manner on a daily basis in all areas of the warehouse ensuring stock is in the right location and has the right quantity.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Manage and complete cycle count process
  • Perform cycle counts on assigned bin locations using RF device
  • Use counting scales to perform counts on necessary items
  • Complete bin checks as needed
  • Recognize and escalate inventory and storage issues
  • Maintain general housekeeping and pick ready condition of bin locations
  • Other duties as determined by supervisor/management team.
  • Continuous improvement/5S.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma OR GED required
  • 1 year distribution or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to count various products and quantities with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience and knowledge of Tennant products and storage locations
  • 1 year SAP experience preferred

  • Ability to problem-solve

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to operate powered lift equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended period of times
  • Ability to work in a non-climate control environments
