Experienced Supply Chain Analyst

Location: United States - Minneapolis, MN

Pay: $67,500 - $101,200

PURPOSE/SCOPE: 

  • The Supply Chain Analyst manages and analyzes entire supply chain or high risk, complex activities.  Develops across supply chain business models to achieve major improvements within business process, demand planning, capacity mgmt. inventory mgmt or logistics costs. Makes decisions involving high degree of complexity.  Works with management team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices including processes and procedures.  Requires an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation and long term corporate perspective.

 

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES: 

  • Focus on tactical projects with some work on strategic initiatives
  • Represent the supply chain on cross functional business unit teams
  • Propose, implement and support multi-site or high level business tools and process enhancements (continuous process improvement).
  • Expert on analyzing, and documenting processes using standards and methodologies.
  • Analyze entire supply chain including logistics costs, materials and sources
  • Recommend improvements based on supply chain analysis
  • Lead integration of new high level process changes
  • Manage large projects related to changes in the supply chain
  • Communicate project status to all levels of management
  • Develops and delivers business plans or models for operations management and other supply chain Leaders.
  • Requires ability to define high risk or high level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve the desired results.
  • Identify, develop and complete strategic level work plans for entire supply chain or high risk projects.
  • Own, develop and implement business processes and related improvements
  • Facilitate small-medium teams having explicit objectives and scope.
  • Manage entire supply chain cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently across the entire supply chain and thrive in non-hierarchical organization.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Requires a 4 year degree in Engineering, Business, Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • ERP experience required.  SAP system experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience and execution of lean tools including pull systems, PDCA thinking, kanbans, value stream maps and PFEP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.  The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
