As a Web Content Specialist, you are an expert in digital strategies and the various platforms used to improve and grow Tennant’s digital footprint. This is an opportunity to build your foundation around Digital Marketing and eCommerce strategies. As the Web Content Specialist of the Web Operations Global Marketing team your other duties include managing site authoring and product updates, working with co-workers to collect necessary content and data to use for each product or service offering, support the merchandising and promotion of content, and ensuring that the brand message and goals align with the rest of the company. 

•    Data collection and site taxonomy - continuously update and maintain the database and user facing site ( to be as current as possible with information such as; product images, data sheet, categories, related products, specs, and/or descriptions
•    Create and edit content, including adding images, documents, and videos to Tennant systems and sites.
•    Document management and upload
•    Ability to write marketing content for ecommerce products and industry related information
•    Develop search-friendly titles, descriptions, and content; optimize search results
•    Support and execute basic SEO elements on and off site
•    Partner with leader to determine appropriate merchandise site plan strategy and development
•    Responsible for authoring and editing front-end content in Adobe experience Manager (AEM). Requires a working knowledge of AEM modules, templates, components, Digital Asset Manager (DAM), and web page creation.
•    Work closely with the Brand Team to ensure consistent branding across digital touch-points .
•    Complete activities according to best practices, standard operations procedures, and team member guidance, consistently meeting high quality standards and striving to add value in each activity

•    2 years of eCommerce Experience 
•    Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), SharePoint, Hybris or similar CMS experience preferred
•    Knowledge of demand generation principles, sales enablement and channel marketing preferred
•    Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
•    Basic HTML and CSS knowledge preferred
•    Business-to-business experience preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing

•    Ability to concentrate on tasks, make decisions and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment; Self-manage execution of activities against deadlines across multiple work-streams;
•    Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally

•    The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has a collaborative work style, is continually looking for ways to do things better and with an eye toward what may come next, is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
