Senior OneStream Analyst

Purpose/Scope:
The OneStream Analyst supports the day‑to‑day operation, analysis, and enhancement of the OneStream application under the direction of the OneStream Administrator. This role partners with Finance to provide data, reporting, and functional support to the OneStream user community. The Analyst executes configuration changes, reporting builds, testing, and data analysis while adhering to established governance and standards. This role also supports month‑end close, reporting, and planning processes by leveraging OneStream functionality and best practices. The OneStream Analyst reports to the OneStream Administrator.
General Responsibilities:
- Support the OneStream Administrator in gathering business requirements and assisting with translation into OneStream configurations, reports, and analyses
- Build, maintain, and support OneStream reporting artifacts, including cube views, dashboards, data hierarchies, and workflows
- Execute month‑end close, forecasting, and planning support activities, including data loads, validations, reconciliations, and issue resolution
- Perform testing for OneStream enhancements, configuration changes, and platform upgrades; document results and support remediation efforts
- Assist with maintenance of OneStream metadata such as entities, accounts, dimensions, and reporting structures in accordance with governance standards
- Support integrations and data quality processes, including mappings, validations, transformations, and confirmations from source systems such as SAP
- Maintain and enhance OneStream business rules and member formulas based on guidance from the OneStream Administrator
- Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting for OneStream inquiries; escalate complex issues as appropriate
- Support security administration activities, including user access requests, role assignments, and access review support in accordance with SOX requirements
- Develop and maintain user documentation, job aids, and training materials to support adoption across the global finance team
- Fulfill ad‑hoc data extraction, reporting, and analysis requests from Finance stakeholders
- Participate in special projects, system stabilization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned
Professional Experience / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a detail‑oriented professional with hands‑on OneStream experience and a solid foundation in accounting and finance. This role requires strong analytical skills, comfort working within defined governance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and Financial Systems partners.
The successful candidate’s qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience working with a Financial Consolidation or EPM platform, preferably OneStream
- Working knowledge of financial consolidations, close processes, management reporting, and planning
- Experience supporting data integrations from ERP systems such as SAP ECC or S/4 is a plus
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while taking direction and prioritization from the OneStream Administrator
- Demonstrated commitment to ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $78,700- $118,100
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
