Sales Enablement Specialist, Robotics

We are seeking a highly execution-focused Sales Enablement Specialist to serve as the critical bridge between Marketing, Product Management, and the Commercial Sales organization (including core sales and Business Development teams). This pivotal role is responsible for advancing the digital enablement strategy, ensuring the sales force possesses the specialized knowledge, skills, abilities, and tools required to drive increased robotics penetration and win new customers.
The Specialist determines "what is different" in selling robotics and executes solutions to fill those gaps. This position requires a strong focus on execution and cross-functional collaboration to leverage existing core capabilities while building robotics-specific resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling Tools & Optimization: Identify, build, deploy, and train the sales organization on robotics-specific selling tools, such as productivity calculators (ROI calc tools) and Site Surveys. This includes managing and enhancing enterprise platforms like CRM and Sales Compass to ensure field success.
- Playbook Development & Onboarding: Build and deliver robotics-specific training programs, including the robotics playbook, tailored to robotics prospects and incorporating specific actions around robotics selling processes.
- Sales Content Preparation: Manage and maintain presentation templates, ensuring sales content is readily available and "dressed" appropriately for key accounts and varied customer stakeholders. Responsible for developing and communicating approaches to selling value to different stakeholders.
- Launch Readiness: Serve as the execution lead to prepare the commercial team to win with new products by defining the necessary content and ensuring cross-functional execution for Product Launch Readiness.
- Competitive Intelligence: Repurpose competitive information for sales use and support Case Study development based on customer successes and failures.
- Data & Dashboard Ownership: Define and own the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting for commercial effectiveness, focusing on key sales metrics.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Drive insights through analytics (PowerBI, Excel) to monitor performance related to the opportunity funnel, win/loss analysis, and MQL – SQL conversion.
- Lead Management: Support Demand Generation by managing the flow of leads, including the process to pre-qualify leads and assign follow-up priorities in collaboration with Business Development and Core Sales.
- Digital Content Assets: Support the deployment of specialized Digital Selling Media & Assets, such as hero videos, competitive comparisons, and feature/tech simulations to increase TNC digital presence and support the commercial organization.
- Collateral Delivery: Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to leverage content to maximize channel effectiveness.
- Demand Generation Support: Execute targeted digital campaigns to drive awareness and top-of-funnel lead generation, supporting the overall demand-generation strategy defined by Marketing.
- Web/Brand Alignment: Ensure digital enablement tools and content align with the TNC Robotics brand and messaging and support web content delivery provided by the Robotics team.
Education and KSAs
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Relevant experience demonstrating success in commercial operations, marketing execution, or sales administration is beneficial. Proficiency in digital tools such as CRM and sales apps is required.
- Tool & Process Acumen: Strong capability in identifying enablement issues, creating practical recommendations, and executing strategies to enhance multi-channel sales performance.
- Collaboration: Strong capability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Results Orientation: Proven ability to drive execution and consistently achieve commitments for marketing programs.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $77,200 - $115,800
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
