Sales Compensation Analyst

As a Sales Compensation Analyst at Tennant, you'll provide support to the sales and service organization by maintaining daily and monthly activities for accruals, payments, and data structure. You will play a key role in providing accurate reporting for management and ensuring integrity of data.

 

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion for the monthly accruals and payments for our sales and service organizations.
  • Update monthly financials to provide sales leadership insight into sales team performance.
  • Manage and approve machine leads from initial submission to validation and then payment to the correct service team member.
  • Manage requests from sales organization to adjust sales activities in SAP to correctly account for machine sales in management reporting. 
  • Maintain other data elements in the employee structure which impacts compensation reporting and other types of reporting.
  • Identify and coordinate improvements to customer documentation process to create an improved customer experience and efficiencies for the sales and service teams, while ensuring accuracy in documentation.
     

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, finance or accounting and 2-5 years relevant experience OR 2 years post-secondary education, preferably in finance or accounting and 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups)
  • Proficiency in SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills required for building relationships
  • Prior experience in sales compensation is a plus
