Strategic Accounts Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work independently and within our matrix organization to establish selling strategies and tactics that result in new business generation within segmented strategic account business.
  • Manage, drive and grow a portfolio of customers commensurate with experience
  • Identify, negotiate and win new strategic account business while implementing overall strategic objectives for the organization
  • Develop and execute strategies that analyze and reflect an understanding of customer needs, emerging trends, critical opportunities, and metrics that will increase sales, expand market share, and improve profitability.
  • Maintain a strong business relationship with all key strategic account contacts.
  • Uses provided tools to drive successful customer engagement
  • Conducts quarterly reviews of each account that focus on business progress and development, changing customer needs, problems, obstacles, new partnership opportunities, and improved measures.
  • Effectively collaborates with all internal partners to leverage the collective strength of the organization and exceed current and prospective customer's needs and expectations.
  • Provide accurate business and market forecasts.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all products, services and applications


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university
  • Minimum five years of business experience in sales
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with large National/Global customers, by phone and/or in person
  • Proven Track record of successful job performance
  • Effectively integrates and manages the interface between groups
  • Sets appropriate timelines and follows projects and tasks through to completion
  • Confidently and positively adapts to changes and challenges
  • Continually expands technical expertise and integrates best practices into work
  • Solicits and is receptive to feedback and coaching
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong negotiating, presentation, training and facilitation skills
  • Proficient at interacting and influencing people at all levels of an organization
