New Material Release Analyst

The New Material Release analyst performs an audit of SAP material master information created by engineering in preparation for the setup of new production materials. The analyst ensures accuracy of the master data as well as the status of the related engineering documentation in preparation for release into Tennant's SAP workflow for setup in the production plants. This role will additionally work with the engineering teams to understand the use and application of SAP data from concept to the launch of the materials into the production plants.

 

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:    

  • Review of newly created SAP Material Master data for completeness and accuracy
  • Review and monitoring of the supporting engineering documentation through Tennant's document status network in support of launch activities
  • Monitor and drive the status of new material setup workflows and communicate to the engineering teams the state of their materials in the process
  • Support engineering staff with consulting and training on Tennant's use and application of SAP in the product development process
  • Support process development in cross-functional areas of the business as a subject matter expert in the application of SAP to the new product development process

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Basic familiarity with the use and application of SAP material master data and reporting in a global enterprise
  • Basic familiarity with the use and application of document status networks and their function

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in varied situations.
