PURPOSE/SCOPE:
The Global Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for leading global marketing strategies that strengthen customer engagement, support new product and commercial goals; enabling consistent execution across regions. This role drives GTM marketing strategy and execution, guides cross-functional teams in launch excellence and oversees development of high-impact content. The Global Strategic Marketing Manager works collaboratively with Product, Sales, Regional Marketing, Insights, and Digital partners to align market-facing activities and ensure scalable, integrated brand activation worldwide.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Launch Excellence
- Lead cross-functional teams, following global product launch playbook, creating launch plans to win.
- Ensure marketing governance, alignment, and on-time delivery of global launch assets, content and campaigns.
- Partner with Product Management and Regional Marketing to ensure consistent execution and readiness.
- Lead efforts to identify continuous improvement of the global launch playbook.
GTM Campaign & Content Leadership
- Partner with regional marketing teams to create and optimize GTM demand generation campaigns and sales enablement tools.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize tactics with data-driven decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally in development of campaign and launch content, including blogs, whitepapers, articles, sell sheets, videos, and sales enablement materials, that support GTM objectives and is activated across digital and marketing channels.
- Develop global editorial calendar to ensure campaign and launch priorities are reflected across channels, in collaboration with the marketing automation and regional teams.
- Contribute to social media content to ensure campaigns and product launches are effectively activated across social channels.
- Collaborate with regional marketing, marketing automation lead, and web team to execute campaigns across digital channels.
GTM Strategy & Frameworks
- Develop and apply GTM frameworks, best practices, templates and campaign playbooks that drive consistent market execution while enabling local flexibility.
- Ensure campaigns and launches align to brand strategy and drive commercial results.
- Use insights (VOC, competitive intelligence, performance data) to guide prioritization, segmentation, and messaging to unlock opportunities within the portfolio.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of marketers, providing clear direction, prioritization, and development plans.
- Set clear goals and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across all campaign and launch activities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability grounded in customer and market insights.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders with clear recommendations, insights, and performance data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, or related function
- Experience leading and developing a small team of marketing professionals.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and influential skills.
- Preferred Experience in B2B industrial, manufacturing, or technical product environments.
- Experience developing and applying GTM frameworks and campaign playbooks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.
- Experience working across global markets.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferably CRM Dynamics and strong knowledge with marketing funnel metrics: MQL, SQL, conversion rates and campaign performance measurement
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategy for B2B audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present data to non-technical audiences
Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
