We are hiring a Learning & Development Specialist who will build creative learning experiences, support employees, and leverage the latest training tools and technology to join Tennant’s Learning Solutions Team. This role is a great opportunity to deepen your experience in Learning & Development (L&D) while making a real impact across the organization. You’ll design and deliver training, support our LMS, partner with employees and leaders, and help bring innovative learning solutions to life.
What You’ll Do:
• Design & Deliver Training – Create, update, and evaluate engaging training programs and events for both classroom and virtual settings.
• Build Learning Content – Develop training materials (manuals, guides, eLearning, videos, visual aids) and keep them fresh and relevant.
• Support the LMS – Enroll learners, publish content, troubleshoot accounts, and generate reports to keep learning smooth and accessible.
• Be a Go-To Resource – Field L&D questions from staff, provide support, and help leaders adopt new training tools and solutions.
• Collaborate with the Field – Travel (~20%) to meet employees, understand needs, identify best practices, and recommend tailored solutions.
• Drive Learning Innovation – Partner with leaders to support launches, change initiatives, and organizational effectiveness goals.
• Other contributions – Jump in on related projects, SOP documentation, and cross-team initiatives as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years in Learning & Development, instructional design, or a related role; experience in Sales & Service training preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Instructional design & facilitation (adult learning, blended learning, virtual delivery).
• Authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
• LMS knowledge (Cornerstone OnDemand a plus).
• Measurement & evaluation (Kirkpatrick, ROI, analytics).
• Change management skills.
• People Skills: Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and adaptability.
• Mindset: Analytical, results-driven, project-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $61,500 - 91,900
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
