Data Management Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Initial responsibilities will be learning the day to day customer master data role. This includes creating, updating and maintaining master records for the Tennant North America customer base.
  • Support Support North America business and support teams with data management activities.
  • Support the development and improvement of master data to increase operational efficiency and strengthen data governance.
  • Create and maintain key data elements to ensure accurate output.
  • Collaborate within master data teams to ensure measurables are prioritized, scoped, assessed, and delivered on time.
  • Define, manage, and optimize data management and quality processes.
  • Ensure the highest level of data quality, integrity, and service.
  • Investigate and interpret information using a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Manage UPS Manifest for the Customer Master team and proactively find solutions to minimize UPS charges.
  • Participate and help manage data governance including GPO de-enrolls and Strategic Account membership roster maintenance.
  • Mentor incoming team members and collaborate with other departments.
  • Works within the Customer Master email inbox to complete customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers via phone, fax and email interactions.
  • Various projects as assigned.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus two years' experience in a customer contact environment
  • Previous data management experience with equipment master, customer master and standard system records preferred
  • Previous experience running and reviewing reports preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Basic Excel

  • Shifts and adjusts priorities to meet emerging needs, able to adapt their approach as the requirements of a situation change
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Thinks independently and resolves issues with minimal guidance
  • Understands the importance of his/her role as a representative of Tennant by demonstrating a positive and professional service orientation to internal and external customers as aligned to the Tennant Behavioral expectations.
  • Works productively, plans, uses time and resources efficiently, follows through to completion
