PURPOSE: This role is responsible for managing equipment orders and providing customer support for assigned Tennant geographies. The position serves as a liaison between customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, compliance with program requirements, and timely delivery, while acting as a subject matter expert for assigned territories.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and manage orders, quotes and inquiries in an accurate and efficient manner for assigned Tennant geographies, with a focus on equipment order processing
- Provide internal and external customer support via phone, email and all other methods of communication
- Coordination of initial DGO-Business Partner requests, tax status updates, material control requests and plant changes to fulfill order entry process
- Coordination with Sales, Production, Distribution Centers and Logistics to ensure delivery expectations of customers are met
- Understand, communicate and execute against all marketing programs, distributor programs, government processes and all other unique customer requirements
- Enter customer complaints and returns for parts and machines as required
- Research and enter invoice adjustment requests as needed for entered machine sales orders
- Creating and maintaining how to do business documents (HTDB) for all specialized accounts as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned Tennant geographies and all customers within
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus two years experience in a customer contact environment
- SAP experience preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in current position for internal candidates

- Intermediate PC and PC application skills with the ability to use multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to organize and maintain workload across multiple platforms.
- Builds and maintains solid relationships with assigned regional sales reps and distributors
- Shows initiative to solve customer and business needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently utilizing available resources

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
