PURPOSE/SCOPE:  The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our North America Sales organization through Sales support, best practice deployments, communication and customer engagement.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Leads Sales Operation team through integration of responsibilities while providing operational support to sales management.
  • Actively drive a customer-centric/solutions-oriented culture using data to assure alignment
  • Plans and coordinates projects to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force
  • Develops processes and procedures to support the sales process and participates in the development of requirements for sales support systems.
  • Maintains information of sales activities that support sales performance metrics
  • Develops strategy and foundation for an evolution of sales operations.
  • Responsible for the following Sales Operations functions:
    • Event Management: Management and execution of tradeshows, incentive trips and sales meetings
    • Optimize communication through Sales Organization (reports, calls etc.)
    • Support of industry leading ARM deployments
    • Channel promotion and program development (distribution, lead share, ecommerce)
    • Best practice validation and deployment for Sales
    • Manager of sales technology (CRM, dashboards, mobile tools)
    • Manager of external sales support contractors

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 10+ years relevant of experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales, marketing or business development strategies
  • Track record of successful business performance
  • Demonstrated experience with change management and large-scale change initiatives
  • Advanced planning, communication, teamwork and organization skills
  • Advanced decision making, problem solving and independence skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to/drive positive change within people, process and products
  • Demonstrated ability to drive positive and profitable business growth
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Ability to positively influence those outside of your span of control
