  • Build strong relationships among business partners
  • Work collaboratively with co-sourced internal audit firm and the company’s external audit firm
  • Assist with the annual scoping process
  • Create the annual audit plan and SOX entity rotation
  • Update request lists, process flow updates, RACMs, and other relevant documentation
  • Develop analysis and reporting of audit results to management
  • Lead walkthrough meetings with business partners and external auditors
  • Document the testing of SOX controls in all phases: walkthrough, operating effectiveness, roll-forward, and year-end
  • Review control documentation and provide guidance for improvements
  • Assist control owners with documentation of controls and remediation of deficiencies, where needed
  • Conduct global SOX training for process owners
  • System administer of newly implemented SOXHUB documentation repository and workflow tool
  • Review internal and external audit findings with management, assess severity, and assist with development of remediation plans


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit, internal controls, or risk management
  • Detail oriented and navigates through ambiguity
  • Problem-solver, analytical, and demonstrates organizational ability
  • Meet deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills
  • Self-starter and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Contribute as a valued team player
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • CIA, CISA, CPA, or MBA preferred
  • Public accounting preferred
  • ERP knowledge: SAP, Navision, AS400 preferred
  • Exposure to audit software (i.e. SOXHUB) preferred
  • Experience with Enterprise Risk Management preferred
