  • Support daily sales activity necessary to help grow & achieve Grainger growth goals through:
    • Be point person to help support Grainger related questions and needs from internal and external parties.
    • Assisting Grainger team in supporting sales opportunities from quote to installation.
    • Review and process any necessary cost support requests.
    • Ensure positive customer experience with time sensitive orders and large, multi-site opportunities.
  • Drive Internal & External Mindshare to promote Grainger partnership:
    • Work with marketing to develop a communication plan around highlighting key wins, best practices, and key learnings.  Communicate these to internal and external stakeholders as deemed appropriate.
    • Work with marketing, or available tools to develop regional or customer specific marketing collateral.
    • Maintain internal SharePoint site to ensure relevant material is available to field sales.
  • Build-upon Tennant’s 2017 Partner in Performance Award by managing the Grainger Scorecard:
    • Work with an internal cross-functional team to ensure we have appropriate stock of key products
    • Ensure on-time shipments of products to Grainger distribution center, and Grainger end user customers.
    • Own the scorecard reporting, analysis, and communication to key internal stakeholders, and Tennant leadership.
  • Increase Visibility & Sales of Tennant Products on
    • Work with Grainger product team to create and load new products onto
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of these product adds
    • Work with their enhanced content team to ensure all support materials are also available for Grainger customer and sales rep to view
  • Find and cultivate new potential opportunities for incremental business:
    • Develop & Manage ARM (Account Relationship Management) by building a strategy around building relationships, education, finding incremental opportunities, and working with Tennant field sales to close these opportunities
    • Network with Grainger Strategic Account Managers to uncover non-conflicting multi-site opportunities for Grainger and Tennant to partner on.
    • Network with Grainger DSA’s (District Sales Assistant) in underpenetrated geographies or vertical markets to get Tennant the opportunity to participate in team calls, meetings, or targeting events.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of business experience in sales, inside sales and/or customer service
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with large National/Global customers, by phone and/or in person
  • Track record of successful job performance

  • Functional PC and PC application skills – SAP experience preferred
