HR Analyst

The HR Analyst will support key programs within the Integrated Talent Management function.  This role will provide leadership around talent insights & analytics, systems & tools and core processes.  This role will support both Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, reporting to the Director of Talent Management. A key priority for this role will be to partner strategically with members of the Talent Management team, as well as across the organization, to ensure best practices are leveraged.  This person will work well independently and collaborate effectively across the team.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Provide strategic-level of support around Talent Management Insights (analytics), including but not limited to, data uploads, compiling strategic data insights, supporting quarterly business review cadence, performance rating distributions, talent review data and ad hoc analytics / data requests as needed.
  • Support headcount tracking management process and other Talent Management programs.
  • Responsible for providing weekly reporting updates.  In addition, run and construct reports as requested.
  • Develops TA material that includes key data findings, reporting, trends and recommendations Provide leadership around the support of the Talent Management Toolkit (process, continuous improvement, management).
  • Applicant Tracking & Onboarding system support for the TA and HR Business Partner.  Provide continuous improvement suggestions for how to provide the best possible end-user support for Talent Acquisition systems. 
  • Participate in evaluating applicant tracking system releases and enhancements. Participate or lead Talent Management system projects. Assist with the testing of system enhancements.
  • Manage analytics for listening strategy initiatives, including New Hire Onboarding & Exit Surveys; Employee Engagement survey administration, data analysis & report-outs.
  • Ownership of data collection and analysis for annual government contractor compliance reporting
  • Manage content and updates on Tennant Company’s career website
  • Design and develop support resources and tools that support talent management initiatives
  • Other ad hoc projects: as needed lead and monitor ad hoc projects throughout the year that are critical to Talent Management support.


Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven success in the areas of systems & analytics including both strategic and tactical initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting Affirmative Action data requirements preferred.


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Other specialized skills, abilities required: 
  • Proven ability to thrive in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Project management experience – leading & executing
  • Intermediate or advanced user of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) including experience using formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (preferably SuccessFactors)
  • Power BI support experience preferred
  • Passionate about delivering solutions that help enable the success of the broader team
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data in decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills at multiple levels, leveraging a variety of tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively 
  • Ability to implement process improvements in a collaborative manner
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task frequently, with ease
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally, as well as within HR effectively & efficiently
  • Ensures confidentiality and protection of company data at all times
  • Must take initiative, be self-motivated
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
