Customer Service Inventory Specialist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in executing all audit functions that relate to the integrity of material balances, inventory control processes within Service Vans
  • Process all cycle count, physical inventory, and inventory adjustment processes Service Vans
  • Provide feedback to all Service Management personnel on accuracy levels, procedure problems, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Execute and process three times per year per truck inventory cycle counting. Analyze results of cycle counts, for problem resolution. Identify and analyze non-cycle count inventory discrepancies and reconcile with ERP system.
  • Contribute backup for inventory discrepancy and reconciliation process for interplant shipments,.
  • Assist in developing processes, procedures and support training to ensure inventory and ERP program are consistent.
  • Run semiannual reports to analysis reorder points in the service vans.  Work with the Field Service Reps to set up reorder points as they change throughout the year based on  customer activity
  • Run Monthly Negative Inventory Reports and help analyze the discrepancies in the vans
  • Run yearly dead  stock reports for each van and analyze scrap or purge based on usage, dollars and activity back in our distribution whse
  • Provide daily support to the field to answer questions via email or phone calls
  • Create complaints within the SAP System to ensure all issues relating to shipping parts to service are being documented
  • Ability to troubleshoot daily inventory and system issues within SAP
  • Other projects or responsibilites as assigned.
     

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus two years’ experience in a working inventory environment
  • SAP or ERP systems and Cisco soft phone experience preferred
